This is a fantastic tour. As a solo female traveler, I often think twice about booking a private tour, but I only had 1 free day in SLC and I wanted to really see the area. I'm glad I booked the trip. Shawn made sure that I felt comfortable both before and throughout the tour and he did an amazing job sharing insights about the area's history and development. The canyons are gorgeous and well maintained; we even saw a moose!I opted in for the tram ride at Snowbird and am convinced it should absolutely be a fixed item in the itinerary for everyone that is physically able. The views are phenomenal!If I have the chance to visit SLC again, I will definitely book another tour with Shawn (the multi-day national park trips look awesome).

My husband, mother, and I had a great tour of Antelope Island with Clayton. Our morning tour included sightings of bison, deer, prong horn, and many species of birds. The photo opportunities were plentiful! Great shots of a mother prong horn and baby, frolicking baby bison, and burrowing owls who seemed to be posing for the camera. Binoculars were available for use. Clayton had a great eye for spotting the wildlife and made sure to give views from both sides of the car. Clayton was extremely knowledgeable about the geography and history of the area, as well as the the wildlife. We would highly recommend a tour with Clayton and Safari Utah!

Because I had booked my hotel per Pitta's recommendation, I was picked up the night of our Flammulated Owl tour at the hotel right on time. Tim Avery is very easy to go with and talk to and extremely knowledgable on all things birds. We learned a lot in between spots. The night was a bit windy making vocalization difficult to hear, but Tim found a relatively calm area and voila - the Flammy came out. There was a little perserverance involved but ultimately we not only heard the owl, but were able to get photographs as well which was beyond expectations. All in all it was a great experience.

My guide, Quincy, was wonderful; he arrived right on time to pick me up at my hotel. He is an experienced guide with extensive knowledge of bird habitats. He took me to two locations where I thoroughly enjoyed birdwatching, and later—at my request—he dropped me off at the Aviary, which he happily did.

Shawn did a wonderful job giving my son and I a tour around the outskirts of the Wasatch mountains. There was some bad weather forecasted for our trip and Shawn made some slight changes yet still provided us a beautiful trip we will not forget. It seemed like we were given a tour from a friend so we felt completely comfortable. Highly recommend!!
